Kimberly Williams-Paisley reunited with her onscreen father and wedding planner over the weekend.
The 45-year-old actress snapped a photo between with her Father of the Bride co-stars, Steve Martin and Martin Short, on Sunday night, writing: “Loved seeing my former costars @SteveMartinToGo & @themartinshort at the Opryhouse tonight for their show in #Nashville.”
Martin — who portrayed Williams-Paisley’s dad, George Banks, in the Father of the Bride films — is currently on a comedy tour with Short — who played the hilarious wedding planner, Franck Eggelhoffer, in the beloved 1991 and 1995 movies.
In an exclusive interview with ET last year, Martin addressed rumors that there will be a third Father of the Bride film. “I don’t think that’s gonna happen,” he admitted. “I’d have to play a grandfather — do I want to do that? Yeah, of course I do, but I think we’ve seen enough.”
The 71-year-old star added, “But, you know, I think another generation will make that movie again.”
Williams-Paisely, however, told ET that she is definitely up for starring in a sequel. “Totally, I would want to do a third one,” she exclaimed. “I would love to see it!”
