Tommie Lee is once again in trouble with the law.
The long-time Love & Hip Hop star appeared in court last week in Cobb County, Georgia for a heading regarding her lurid child abuse case…
… and she did so while highly intoxicated.
This state was so apparent that a judge ordered Lee to immediately undergo a drug and alcohol test, according to TMZ — and Lee failed it in rather spectacular/embarrassing fashion.
Insider tell the aforementioned celebrity gossip website that the VH1 personality blew a 0.16 on her blood-alcohol content exame, twice the legal limit… and a violation of her bond.
As a result, Lee was arrested on the spot.
As for the basis for this hearing?
Lee was hoping to move to California for work while she was out on bond for her child abuse charge, a request the judge shot down due to her long and ugly rap sheet.
“I’ve been working really hard through my problems considering the challenges that’s been set before me since I’ve been home,” Lee has now said in a statement, adding:
“I’ve done all that I can do on my own to shake my habits but I do realize that I need help and I am currently seeking treatment.”
That’s good to her — but Lee is still in a boatload of trouble.
In January, the reality star was indicted on multiple charges stemming from an incident last October in which she allegedly grabbed one of her kids by the hair and shoved their head into a metal locker at their middle school.
Lee faces charges of aggravated assault, child cruelty, battery, aggravated stalking and disrupting a public school.
She reportedly went to her daughter’s middle school in the fall… walked into her child’s classroom unannounced … and slapped her on the hands with her purse strap.
As mentioned before, she is also accused of slapping her across the face… dragging her down the hall by her hair… and throwing her into a metal locker.
Lee was arrested at the scene and made bail — but then she was then arrested again the very next day for violating a court order to stay away from this daughter.
We repeat: YIKES!
A mother of two, Lee was also arrested in July of 2018 after striking a valet operator outside of Atlanta hotspot Royal Peacock.
By her own admission, she’s been taken into custody over a dozen times, a fact Lee has often bragged about.
“Half the time I’ve been on probation without going to prison,” Lee told VH1 upon joining the Love & Hip Hop cast in 2016, adding at the time:
“Half the time I was put on probation but I was still a badass. I still would violate probation. I wouldn’t do community service, so [I] guess that you get booked again and [then] you got a whole new mug shot.”
If convicted on all seven charges cited previously, Lee could face up to 54 years behind bars.
