Bachelor In Paradise contestant Brooke Blurton has hit back at trolls accusing her of being a ‘fake lesbian’.The Perth social worker shared the first same sex date, and kiss, in the show’s history when she paired up with Alex Nation in an episode aired this week. However she left the show soon after despite also forming connections with Alex Bordyukov and Nathan Favro. Blurton then took to social media to announce a relationship with Perth’s Nick Power, which formed after the she left the show.Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Blurton said the fact she had formed connections with men and women saw her inundated with critics on social media.“I have been called a fake lesbian quite often and people say I pick and choose whether I am going to be with men or women depending on the circumstance,” she said.“I have genuinely had two girlfriends in my life and I was with both of them for a substantial amount of time and I have also been with men. But I don’t put myself in the bisexual box.“I knew I was attracted to women from quite a young age. I didn’t have a coming-out party, but I have always been very open with my family and friends.”The 24-year-old said she was done with reality TV dating shows “for a while”.
